Support / Development Engineer Night Shift Expectations

(30% Support and 70% development.)

The primary responsibility of the Support Engineer is to provide application support during the night shift.

Shift Timings (IST):

• During Daylight Saving Time (MarchNovember): Shift ends at 2:30 AM IST (corresponding to 5:00 PM ET).
• Outside Daylight Saving Time (November–March): Shift ends at 3:30 AM IST (corresponding to 5:00 PM ET).

Key Responsibilities:

• Be available to support production systems during the assigned night shift.
• Communicate effectively with vendors through Google Chat (GChat) and participate in calls (Google Meet) when required.
• Respond promptly to support requests and resolve issues.

Shift Rotation:

• The night shift follows a roster-based schedule.
• Typically, two engineers will be assigned to the night shift each week, with each engineer covering approximately Two weeks per month.

Preferred Technical Skills:
Experience with the following technologies is highly desirable, as some applications use them:

• VB.NET
• JavaScript
