Senior Software Developer
Summary
Senior full-stack developer leading development of Logitera's multi-tenant ERP platform (procurement, accounting, HRM, CRM, service operations). Day to day: designing database schemas and migrations, writing and optimizing SQL, building server APIs and Vue frontends, ensuring tenant data isolation, preparing release handovers, and mentoring a junior developer.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Lead the technical development of ERP System, a multi-tenant ERP platform encompassing Procurement, Accounting, Human Resources (HRM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Service Operations, and third-party API integrations. The role is responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from database architecture and backend development to frontend implementation, ensuring high standards of technical quality, performance, scalability, and functional accuracy. It carries end-to-end ownership of feature delivery, including solution design, development, testing, documentation, and release preparation. Production deployments are performed by the Managing Director; the post-holder is responsible for preparing deployment packages, maintaining technical documentation, and conducting a structured handover for each release.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and build complete features across the stack: database schema, migrations, server API endpoints and Vue user interfaces.
- Design and review changes to a database of approximately 250 tables, 79 views and 89 migrations, ensuring correctness and backward compatibility.
- Safeguard multi-tenant data isolation. Ensure every query is correctly scoped by tenant, company and branch so that no customer can access another customer's data.
- Maintain and extend the role-based permission system, including per-permission levels for read, edit, delete and post, enforced both client-side and server-side.
- Write and optimise SQL, including database views, and diagnose slow queries.
- Prepare release candidates: build, test, document the change and any required database steps, then hand over to the Managing Director for deployment.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including setup steps, migration notes and known issues.
- Replace remaining third-party service dependencies (email, SMS, queuing, document storage) following the migration from cloud hosting to on-premise infrastructure.
- Review the Junior Developer's work, explain the reasoning behind corrections, and progressively transfer ownership of modules.
