Senior Software Developer (Mandarin Speaker)

The ideal candidate is an experienced and technically strong software professional who will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support business objectives. This role will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient applications. The successful candidate should have strong problem‑solving abilities, a passion for technology, and the ability to mentor and guide other developers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications based on business requirements

Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on software architecture, system design, and development best practices

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards and coding guidelines

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and development practices

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments

Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions

Participate in software design, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, processes, and user guides

Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or related technical roles

Strong experience in software design, development lifecycle, and application architecture

Experience with databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and software development tools is an advantage

Strong understanding of coding best practices, version control, testing methodologies, and deployment processes

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams

Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

Experience in mentoring or leading junior developers is preferred
