Summary:

This position centers on developing reliable, high-quality embedded systems for complex vehicle environments. You will contribute to software that directly impacts functionality, safety, and overall performance in modern bus platforms.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for bus control units and related vehicle systems

  • Implement new features in C++ within complex real-time environments

  • Perform system integration, testing, and debugging on both software and hardware levels

  • Ensure software quality in alignment with automotive standards and best practices

  • Participate in design reviews and code reviews

  • Collaborate closely with system engineers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams

  • Contribute actively in an agile/Scrum-based development environment

Your experience and skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field

  • Strong professional experience in C++ development (mandatory)

  • Proven experience working with embedded systems in complex real-time environments

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team

  • Professional working proficiency in English (Swedish is a plus)

Desired skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or similar

  • Familiarity with functional safety standards

  • Experience with continuous integration pipelines and embedded debugging tools

  • Previous experience within a similar automotive development environment is considered an advantage
