Senior Software Developer

As a Senior Software Developer, you will design, develop and support web, mobile and cloud-based applications within a collaborative digital team. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle, mentor peers, and help evolve modern digital solutions. You’ll partner with stakeholders to define technical solutions while ensuring best practices, security and reliable performance. This role offers impact through scalable systems and cross‑functional delivery in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

• Develop new applications and functionality while enhancing existing systems
• Write clean, testable code across front-end and back-end tech
• Gather requirements and define technical solutions with stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Design, develop and maintain APIs and third‑party integrations
• Support cloud infrastructure and ensure secure, scalable apps
• Apply development best practices including testing, version control and documentation
• Contribute to architecture decisions and new technology adoption
• Improve automated workflows and deployment processes
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure quality delivery
• Maintain accurate system and requirements documentation
• Collaborate across teams to deliver digital projects and continuous improvement

• Strong commercial software development experience
• Proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with database design and SQL
• Solid knowledge of Git and collaborative workflows
• Experience developing with React and/or React Native
• Experience supporting AWS environments
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including testing and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers
