Senior Software Developer (Python, React, Gen AI)

Role & Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and support full-stack features, including AI-enabled ones
• Develop Python backends and APIs (FastAPI/Flask/Django); Node.js is a plus
• Create responsive React and TypeScript frontends
• Implement AI features like RAG search, chat interfaces, and automation using LLM APIs and vector databases
• Write tests, review PRs, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability
• Estimate tasks, flag risks early, and mentor Associate Engineers
• Work with consulting teams and domain experts to turn business problems into solutions

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors/Masters in CS or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 to 6 years of experience delivering production features independently
• Strong Python, API, React, and TypeScript skills
• Solid knowledge of databases, auth, Git, testing, and CI/CD
• Experience integrating LLM services and building AI features
• Hands-on Azure or AWS experience
• Understanding of RAG, vector search, model evaluation, and AI observability
• Familiarity with Docker, infrastructure as code, queues, caching, and event-driven systems
• Clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders
• Responsible use of AI coding tools with proper review and testing
