Yourprimaryfocuswillbeourretailcommerceplatform—Dynamics365CommerceandFinance&Operations—butthisisnotasingle-stackrole.You’llcontext-switchbetweenC#backendwork,TypeScriptPOSextensions,integrationAPIs,andcustomapplications,ofteninthesameweek.We’relookingforsomeonewhothrivesonthatvarietyandpicksupnewtechnologiesquicklyratherthanwaitingtobetrained.

Overtime,thisteamwillgrowbeyondretailintobroaderplatformandapplicationdevelopment:microservices,mobileapps,internaltools,andsolutionsforbusinessproblemsthatdon’tfitneatlyinsideanERP.Wewantsomeonewho’sexcitedbythattrajectory—abuilderwhotakesownershipofwhattheyship,caresaboutthebusinessimpactoftheircode,andiseagertoexpandintonewdomainsastheteamevolves.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Retail Platform Development

• DevelopandmaintainextensionsandcustomizationsforDynamics365CommerceandFinance&Operations(C#backend,TypeScript/HTMLPOSclient)
• Buildandsupportintegrationsconnectingretailsystemswithe-commerce,ordermanagement,andotherbusinessplatformsviaRESTAPIs,OData,andenterprisemessagingpatterns
• Troubleshootandresolveproductionissuesintheretailtechnologystack;ownsystemstabilityandperformancefortheplatformsyoubuild

Custom Application & Integration Development

• Designandbuildmicroservices,APIs,andfull-stackapplicationsthatsupportbusinessoperationsbeyondtheERP—internaltools,workflowautomation,line-of-businessmobileapps,andoperationaldashboards
• Architectsolutionspragmatically:balancetechnicalqualitywithbusinesstimelines,andchoosetherighttoolfortheproblemratherthanfaultingtoasinglestack
• Ownsolutionsend-to-endfromdesignthroughdeploymentandongoingsupport
• DevelopandoptimizedatapipelinesinMicrosoftFabricusingPySpark,DeltaLake,andPythonnotebooks
• Supportthedataarchitecture(bronze/silver/goldlayers)andbuildtoolingthatenablesbusinessuserstoaccessandanalyzedata
• PartnerwiththeBusinessAnalysttotranslatefunctionalrequirementsintotechnicaldesignsanddelivertested,production-readysolutions
• Writecleartechnicaldocumentation;buildsystemsthatotherscanunderstand,maintain,andextend
• Workdirectlywithbusinessstakeholderswhenneededtounderstandcontextandvalidatesolutions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 5+yearsofprofessionalsoftwaredevelopmentexperiencewithdemonstratedabilitytoownanddelivercomplexprojectsindependently
• ExperiencebuildingandconsumingRESTAPIs,workingwithrelationaland/ordocumentdatabases,anddeployingtocloudenvironments(Azurepreferred)
• Trackrecordofsupportingproductionsystemsyou’vebuilt—notjustbuildingandhandingoff;you’velivedwiththeconsequencesofyourdesigndecisions
• Demonstratedabilitytolearnnewplatforms,frameworks,andbusinessdomainsquicklyanddeliverproduction-qualityworkwithoutextensiveramp-up
• Clearcommunicationskills;abletodiscusstechnicaltradeoffswithnon-technicalstakeholdersanddocumentyourworkforothers
