Senior Software Developer (TypeScript, Angular)- Contract

Job Responsibilities

Experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Angular to design, develop, and deliver enterprise applications. The successful candidate will lead technical solution design, contribute to application architecture, mentor development teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications using Java and Angular.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable application architecture and technical solutions.
• Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to software engineering standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Perform technical analysis, effort estimation, and solution planning for application enhancements and new initiatives.
• Support system integration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-production support.
• Investigate and resolve complex application defects, production incidents, and performance issues through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, software quality, and development processes.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, application security, and performance optimisation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
