CHAMP’s solutions, marketed under the Cargospot and Traxon brands, serve over 200 airlines and GSAs, connecting them with approximately 3,000 forwarders and GHAs worldwide. Work with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, Docker, OpenShift, GitLab CI, and Agile teams to create solutions used across the global air cargo industry.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and integrates AI-based features into CHAMP products and platforms. The role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience implementing machine learning and AI capabilities in production environments.
Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business analysts, technical support, and engineering teams
Integrate machine learning models, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics
Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
Participate in architectural decisions and enforce coding standards
Review code and mentor junior developers
Strong proficiency in Python or Java
~ Experience in Angular is a plus
~ Strong understanding of software architecture and APIs
~ Experience with Docker and OpenShift
~ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
~5+ years of professional software development experience
