Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and consume high-quality RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to deliver robust solutions
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Investigate, debug, and optimize application performance
• Contribute to clear and up-to-date technical documentation
• Support the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical development

Qualifications

• Solid experience of over 3 years in application development using Java and Spring Boot in a production environment. Proven experience in building REST APIs and scalable microservices
• Advanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) - optimizations, indexes, complex queries
• Practical experience with Git and version control workflows in collaborative projects
• Deep mastery of clean code, design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Observer, etc.), and SOLID principles
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, integration tests)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed patterns
• Knowledge of Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, or Kafka
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Advanced knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus)
