Senior Software Engineer - Tester

Join our client’s Cyber Security Services team to help develop capabilities for their fraud prevention platform, processing billions of transactions per month at execution speeds 10X faster than a blink. We are looking for creative, out-of-the-box thinkers to ensure the continued health and performance of these critical products.

Role Overview\n

\n
• Collaborate with a talented team of developers and test engineers to build high-performance, high-volume Java fraud management applications.
\n
• Deliver Quality Engineering services including Code quality, Testing Services, Performance Engineering, Testing and Environment automation, Development Collaboration, and Continuous Integration.
\n
• Implement and maintain BDD/TDD practices, code review, and analysis techniques using open-source agile testing frameworks.
\n
• Author automated test suites for code, front-end automation, and API testing.
\n
• Perform ad hoc and exploratory testing to ensure the system meets end-user expectations.
\n
• Work closely with user stories to perform testing at all levels (unit, functional, integration, regression).
\n
• Contribute to the continual enhancement of best practices for quality assurance.
\n

Skills and Experience\n

\n
• Strong experience with Java coding.
\n
• Proficiency in JUnit/JBehave/Cucumber frameworks.
\n
• Experience in testing Web Services, Web UI, and APIs.
\n
• Expertise in creating and integrating acceptance and integration test automation scripts with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover).
\n
• Passionate about code quality and coding best practices.
\n
• Knowledge of Java, Spring, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, Rest Assured, JBehave/Cucumber, Selenium, Databases, REST/SOAP APIs, Continuous Delivery tools (Jenkins/Bamboo), and vulnerability tools (Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify).
\n
• Strong understanding of traditional testing methodologies and exploratory testing in an Agile environment.
\n
• High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and excellent at communication and collaboration.
\n
