Senior Software Development Engineer

You will design scalable backend services for revenue workflows, payments, invoicing, and financial reporting. You will build APIs and full-stack features, integrate internal systems and payment providers, implement financial logic, deploy AWS infrastructure, develop CI/CD and monitoring, and deliver auditable, fault-tolerant systems using modern TypeScript technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement revenue, payment, and invoicing services
• Build APIs and full-stack features using Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
• Manage schemas and queries using Drizzle or Prisma
• Own integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, banks, and payment processors
• Implement contingent payments, commission calculations, and milestone-based billing
• Integrate Claude and use Cursor to accelerate development
• Build and deploy AWS infrastructure
• Implement CI/CD workflows and monitoring
• Ensure systems are fault-tolerant, scalable, auditable, and instrumented
• Translate financial and contractual rules into reusable service logic
• Drive quality, automation, and performance

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend or full-stack development
• Production experience with a TypeScript-native ORM
• Experience owning schema migrations, relations, and query optimization
• Deep production experience with Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on expertise with AWS EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and IAM
• Familiarity with event-driven systems, API integrations, and microservice patterns
• Understanding of data modeling, transaction workflows, and secure service architecture
• Financial systems experience
• Experience with complex domain logic
• Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Concur, or related platforms
• Serverless architecture and FaaS experience
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude API and Cursor
