Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer – Gen AI Agentic, you will be a core contributor to the design and development of intelligent, autonomous agents powered by Generative AI. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building novel agentic systems that can reason, plan and act independently across complex workflows. You will work at the intersection of LLMs, orchestration frameworks and real-world applications—driving innovation from concept to scalable implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop autonomous Gen AI agents capable of reasoning, planning and executing tasks across diverse domains.
- Engineer agentic workflows using LLMs, tool integrations, memory modules and orchestration layers to enable complex task automation.
- Prototype and iterate on novel agent behaviors, including multi agent collaboration, tool use and adaptive decision-making.
- Build scalable RAG pipelines that combine LLMs with semantic search and domain-specific knowledge bases.
- Optimize agent performance for latency, accuracy, and contextual awareness in real-world applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and research to translate ideas into production-ready systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Continuously evaluate emerging Gen AI tools, models and frameworks for potential adoption and experimentation.
- Document engineering patterns, reusable components and best practices to accelerate future development.
- Contribute to the foundational engineering setup of the new global technology center, including tooling, architecture and standards.
- Engage in internal innovation forums and external AI communities to stay ahead of trends and share learnings.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related technical field.
- Certification in Generative AI Engineering (e.g., DeepLearning.AI, NVIDIA GenAI) will be an added advantage.
- Cloud AI/ML Certifications (preferably GCP) will be an added advantage,
Required Experience:
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in Gen AI or LLM-based application development.
- Demonstrated experience in building and deploying agentic systems or autonomous AI applications.
- Strong background in designing scalable, modular and production-ready AI architectures.
Essential Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is strongly preferred .
- Proficient in Python for AI/ML development and orchestration logic.
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI or OpenAgents.
- Deep understanding of LLMs (e.g. Gemini, LLaMA) and their APIs.
- Skilled in building RAG pipelines and integrating vector databases like FAISS, Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Experience with cloud-native AI development on Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiar with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to multi-agent collaboration and agentic planning strategies.
- Understanding of Responsible AI, model evaluation, and ethical AI design.
- Strong grasp of software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
