Senior Software Engineer

Role Details:
- Salary: $130K - $190K.
- Fully remote for candidates based in the United States or Canada.
- Travel required for team and company offsites approximately every six weeks.

- Looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
- Join a small, high-impact engineering team building AI-powered voice agents handling millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies.
- Work across four product teams, including three focused on core product development and one operating as forward-deployed engineers.
- Ship full-stack features that directly power the LLM-based conversational AI platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and ship full-stack product features that support and enhance the LLM-powered voice and chat products.
- Work across product teams to deliver capabilities that help win deals and scale the platform, including forward-deployed engineering work.
- Integrate speech recognition, text-to-speech, and conversational AI model improvements into production systems.
- Optimize and debug production systems balancing latency, cost, and user experience at enterprise scale.
- Collaborate closely with product and ML teams in a fast-moving, startup environment.
- Own multiple initiatives as an individual engineer.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs, including multi-turn agents, prompt engineering, or tools like LangChain.
- Full-stack engineering experience shipping solutions at scale in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Startup mentality and a self-starter approach.
- Located in the United States or Canada.
- Valid US or Canada work authorization with no new visa sponsorship.
- 5-8 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Experience owning and shipping software solutions that scale to millions of users.

Nice-to-have:
- Experience at companies specializing in Conversational AI, such as Poly, Decagon, Sierra, Five9, Genesys, Eleven Labs, Nice, Talkdesk, or RingCentral.
- Experience with conversational AI, multi-turn agents, or LangChain.
- Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
