Senior Software Engineer – Air Defense Command & Control Systems

Summary

Develop and maintain air defense command & control software using C#, .NET, Angular, and TypeScript while collaborating in Agile teams.

Analyze user requirements and create software specifications
Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
Design and document technical solutions
Develop and maintain applications in line with Atos processes and industry standards
Perform unit testing, code reviews, and refactoring
Support release deployments and resolve post-production issues
Participate actively in team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions
Provide timely support to customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions
Write clear technical documentation and present complex information effectively

B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
8+ years of proven experience in software development
Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework development
RESTful API design and integration (XML, JSON, etc.)
Extensive experience with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript
Experience with React is also considered valuable
Experience with ORM frameworks and concepts, including concurrency management, loading strategies, validation, and caching
Experience with source control and configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, ClearCase)
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Ability to perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
Experience with front-end architecture, component-based development
