As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on our Growth team, you will focus on Onboarding & Trial optimization. You will design, build, and iterate on the key product flows that drive user activation, feature adoption, and trial conversions.
Unlike traditional full-stack roles that lean heavily toward backend systems, this position requires deep Frontend expertise alongside solid Backend capabilities. You will build user-facing product experiences, run rapid experiments, and shape the initial user journey in Aircall.
Quality, excellence, and agility drive our delivery processes and you will help us level these up. Using React, NodeJS and Typescript, always hosted on AWS, we build added value and resilient experiences on top of voice and fully integrate with our customers' business critical tools (CRM, Helpdesk, E-Commerce, …).
Your mission @ Aircall:
- Drive Acquisition & Onboarding: design, implement, and optimize activation funnels, trial experiences, and onboarding flows
- Rapid Experimentation: build, ship, and evaluate A/B tests and product feature variations using product analytics to measure impact
- End-to-End Ownership: ship high-quality code across the entire stack, from seamless, responsive frontend interfaces to scalable backend logic
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts to convert user insights into frictionless product experiences
- Create, design, develop, test, and monitor your code in production autonomously and reliably
- Mentor and promote tech growth within the teams
A little about you:
- You have demonstrated professional experience across both frontend and backend development, with true full-stack expertise.
- You have strong frontend mastery: expertise in building complex, modern UI components, reactive interfaces, and web applications. This role involves substantial frontend work.
- You have a strong background in the modern JS/TS ecosystem: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React), and API integration.
- You have a product & data mindset: familiarity with product analytics tools, conversion funnels, and data-informed product decision-making.
- Candidates whose primary background is strictly Ruby, Python, or purely backend frameworks will not fit this specific need.
- Nice to have: prior experience building and scaling software at product-led SaaS companies (as opposed to client consulting or agency backgrounds).
- Nice to have: growth engineering background, with direct experience in funnels, onboarding optimization, monetization, or rapid experimentation frameworks.
- You value code simplicity, quality, performance and maintainability.
- You possess effective and proactive communication skills, and can collaborate with different profiles and roles.
