We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer – Android Automotive to join our team.

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain AOSP/Android Automotive OS platform and application software.
  • Strong development experience using Java, Kotlin, C++ and Python.
  • Contribute to embedded software development with C and C++ implementations.
  • Work within large code repositories and development environments.
  • Develop and maintain test automation solutions.
  • Implement specification-driven and test-driven AI development solutions.
  • Support and contribute to CI toolchains and CI environments based on team needs.
  • Bring forward new ideas, improvements and concepts to continuously drive development excellence.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience with AOSP/Android Automotive OS platform and application development.
  • 5+ years of experience working with embedded systems, preferably using C and C++.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Automated test-driven mindset and approach.
  • Proactive, problem-solving and flexible team player.
  • Structured, enthusiastic and self-driven way of working.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with Git, Gerrit, Jira, Copilot and VS Code.

Hands-on Experience With

  • Java, Kotlin and Python.
  • Embedded systems development using C and C++.
  • Large code repositories.
  • Git and Linux development environments.
  • Test automation development and maintenance.
  • Specification-driven and test-driven AI development.
  • CI toolchains and CI environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the Automotive Infotainment domain, including fault tracing in vehicles.
  • Experience working with Android uplift challenges.
  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Swedish driving licence (Category B).
