Senior Software Engineer (Android & Full-Stack Web)

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and driven Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in both native Android and full-stack web development.

In this role, you will own the software development lifecycle—from gathering requirements and designing solutions to developing, optimizing, maintaining, and providing ongoing support for robust, cloud-backed applications that bridge mobile and web ecosystems.

Working closely with cross-functional product, design, and infrastructure teams, you will deliver secure, highly available, and enterprise-grade systems that provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Android Engineering: Lead the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of native Android applications, ensuring seamless cloud synchronization and robust offline-first capabilities.

• Web Engineering: Architect and deliver responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

• System Integration: Bridge mobile and web ecosystems with secure cloud/hybrid databases, authentication frameworks (OAuth/OIDC), and scalable RESTful APIs.

• Performance & Security: Champion industry best practices for application security, data encryption, automated CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive automated testing.

• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with product managers to shape technical roadmaps.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• 3+ years in a senior or lead technical role spanning both Android and web development.

Technical Expertise

• Mobile: Deep, production-level proficiency in native Android development (Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, MVVM/Clean Architecture, SQLite, and offline data synchronization).

• Web & Full-Stack: Strong command of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, .NET/Java, or equivalent modern frontend and backend development frameworks).

• APIs & Integration: Proven experience designing and building secure RESTful APIs and modern integration solutions.

• Databases: Solid expertise in relational databases (especially MS SQL), focusing on performance optimization, scalability, and data security.

• DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience architecting cloud/hybrid solutions and managing automated CI/CD pipelines.

• UI/UX Acumen: A working understanding of UI/UX principles to effectively translate design concepts into intuitive user experiences.

Engineering Standards & Collaboration

• Code Quality: Demonstrated commitment to writing clean, maintainable code backed by unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of leading technical projects and collaborating effectively in Agile/Scrum cross-functional environments.
