Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain the base (SDKs, APPs, and libraries) used by all applications running on our Android POS devices
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance
- Identify and implement improvements in CI/CD processes, automated testing, and platform monitoring
- Serve as a technical reference, mentoring and supporting developers from different teams
- Ensure code excellence and standardization through code reviews and best practices (SOLID, Clean Architecture)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex SDKs, libraries, or platform modules
- Deep knowledge of software architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and design principles (SOLID)
- Familiarity with dependency management (Gradle) and project modularization
- Experience with Android background services (WorkManager, ForegroundService, BroadcastReceiver, etc.)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD processes
- Practical knowledge of unit and integration testing
- Experience with KMP
- Knowledge of connectivity and network protocols or libraries like OkHttpClient, UrlConnection, or Ktor
- Previous experience in developing solutions for payment terminals (POS) or embedded systems
- Knowledge of AI and Prompt Engineering (LLMs)
- Experience with observability and analytics tools (Grafana, GCP, Looker Studio)
- Knowledge of security and cryptography applied to Android environments
- Familiarity with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) or firmware customization
- Experience with Coroutines, Flows, and Jetpack Compose
