About the role
On behalf of our clients Adysin Services Pty Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining complex software applications and integrated systems. The role involves leading technical development activities, contributing to software architecture decisions and delivering secure, scalable and reliable software solutions.
Key responsibilities
Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into software architecture, technical specifications and development solutions.
Design, develop, test, debug and maintain complex software applications and systems.
Lead technical design decisions and contribute to the development of scalable and secure software architecture.
Develop, integrate and maintain APIs, databases and cloud-based software applications.
Review and optimise software code to improve performance, security, reliability and maintainability.
Conduct software testing, debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Implement software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing and CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with project managers, technical teams and stakeholders to deliver software development projects.
Evaluate existing applications and systems and recommend improvements or enhancements.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and code review support to junior developers and other team members.
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional software engineering experience, including experience delivering complex software projects.
Demonstrated experience in software architecture, application development and systems integration.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript or equivalent.
Experience with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar.
Experience developing APIs and working with relational databases.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, version control, automated testing and CI/CD.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage technical priorities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
