About the Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Applications amp Digital Products team
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are
- Design and develop cutting-edge services that will transform the hospitality industry in the UAE
- Write clean maintainable code with high unit and integration test coverage and participate in code reviews and design sessions
- Conduct reviews focused on reliability performance load testing cost efficiency and security
- Improve service observability through metrics dashboards alerts and proactive monitoring
- Promote engineering best practices and drive automation initiatives to continuously improve solution quality and productivity
- Manage incidents problems and changes effectively including prioritization escalation root cause analysis and resolution of critical system issues
- Collaborate effectively with operations and technology partners demonstrating strong communication and diplomacy skills in regional and global environments
About You
- 5 years of experience in software engineering using modern programming languages such as C Java Go or Python
- Extensive experience with Docker Terraform Dynatrace and Kafka
- Strong proficiency in React TypeScript Next js HTML and CSS
- Strong experience with distributed systems architecture including microservices event-driven architectures and REST APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Strong knowledge of storage systems including PostgreSQL Redis and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in testing with a strong focus on automated end-to-end quality assurance
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
