On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineerto join theApplications & Digital Productsteam.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Design and develop cutting-edge services that will transform the hospitality industry in the UAE


• Write clean, maintainable code with high unit and integration test coverage, and participate in code reviews and design sessions


• Conduct reviews focused on reliability, performance, load testing, cost efficiency, and security


• Improve service observability through metrics, dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring


• Promote engineering best practices and drive automation initiatives to continuously improve solution quality and productivity


• Manage incidents, problems, and changes effectively, including prioritization, escalation, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical system issues


• Collaborate effectively with operations and technology partners, demonstrating strong communication and diplomacy skills in regional and global environments

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering using modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Go, or Python


• Extensive experience with Docker, Terraform, Dynatrace, and Kafka


• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js, HTML, and CSS


• Strong experience with distributed systems architecture, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST APIs


• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS


• Strong knowledge of storage systems, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and NoSQL databases


• Proficiency in testing with a strong focus on automated end-to-end quality assurance


• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
