Senior Software Engineer

Astek Hong Kong is looking for a Java Backend/Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps capabilities.

• The ideal candidate should have solid experience developing backend applications using Java and preferably Spring Boot, combined with strong Linux/Unix, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes skills.
• The position also requires experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, as well as PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Role combines backend development, distributed systems, containerization, and production/DevOps responsibilities.
• Java Microservices Engineer role with strong DevOps and Platform responsibilities.
• Java/Spring Boot backend development with microservices architecture, REST APIs, messaging systems, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python-based infrastructure automation, and PostgreSQL.
