Auria is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Carlsbad, CA, to design, develop, and integrate key software components for the Space Data Network-Backbone (SDN-B) Mission Operations Center (MOC). This is a contingent position.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Build the decision logic that determines how SDN resources get allocated and prioritized.
- Specifically build hierarchical arbitration across Service, Regional and User precedence, along with performance at scale.
- The candidate would support automated provisioning (terminal whitelisting, IP assignment and traffic-flow pinning to regional pLEO SDN PoPs).
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- 7-10 years software engineering experience
- Go experience strongly preferred; Python; backend/distributed systems; rules engines or policy engines; workflow/orchestration software; concurrency experience
- Kubernetes; high-performance API services; network configuration/provisioning; strong automated testing.experience
- Active TS required.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Experience in Space C2 experience and network orchestration software is preferred.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $175,000-$210,000
