Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Software Engineer to join our Solution Architect function in the Customer Experience (CX) division. The position is based in Bangalore, India. As a Software Engineer (Solution Architect Group), you will work on prestigious projects and work closely with the customer, solution architect, functional consultants, developers, quality engineers, and other core team members to execute projects effectively. Your technical, communication, documentation, and analytical skills will be critical to project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients to gather detailed requirements for comprehensive design with the support of team members and Subject Matter Experts (SME).
• Interpret customer requirements and business processes in sufficient detail to design, develop, and review technical specifications.
• Provide technical expertise (e.g., application features, functionality, capabilities, data file requirements, database structure, data migration, etc.) on the project at hand and support the internal team during the life cycle of an implementation project.
• Design and develop process orchestrations using technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, and other platforms.
• Build and deliver the solution according to design specifications.
• Review and/or write test scripts to facilitate and support clients through System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform and verify that the configuration is aligned with client requirements by reviewing end-to-end system testing and providing resolutions and feedback.
• Contribute to enhancing AI tools that support integration and migration.
• Work closely with the Product team on the latest features such as Open API, microservices, and other features to enhance customer experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration issues during software deployment and rollout activities.
• Remain current with the latest data science techniques and practices.
• Adhere to Aurigo delivery and project management methodologies.
• Travel up to 10% annually per business needs.
  
  

Core Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience coding: C#, SQL, JavaScript, RestAPI, etc.
• Tool experience: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Postman, or SoapUI (or similar)
• Experience with data transformation and data communication protocols; knowledge of data migration methods/services
• Customer-facing experience (any form)
• Analytical mindset with sound judgment, logic, and decision-making ability
• Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to articulate complex data simply
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a globally distributed team
• High level of self-leadership, attention to detail, accuracy, and results orientation
• Strong ability to work independently and provide guidance/leadership to junior team members, with strict adherence to QA/QC
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Middleware experience: MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato (or similar)
• Background in infrastructure management or capital project planning
• Certifications related to Data Science or Information Management
