Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Subject Matter Expert with 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, Dev Ops, security operations, automation, and Oracle database administration. The successful candidate will support and secure large-scale on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, driving automation, operational excellence, and high availability within a telecom or regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and support Oracle DBX infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Administer and maintain Linux systems, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, and Oracle databases.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C), automation, and CI/CD solutions using industry-standard tools.
Support Dev Sec Ops initiatives by integrating security controls into deployment pipelines and operational processes.
Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, database cloning, and performance tuning.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise infrastructure, applications, databases, networking, and security platforms.
Support high-availability, business-critical systems and participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
Develop automation scripts and operational tooling to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
Produce technical documentation, root cause analyses, and infrastructure standards.
Required Skills
Oracle DBX application database installation, configuration, and administration.
Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup/recovery, replication, cloning, and performance analysis.
Linux administration (Oracle Linux 7/8/9/10), system hardening, patching, and troubleshooting.
Virtualization technologies include VMware v Sphere/ESXi, Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM), and Oracle VM.
Cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments (OCI preferred).
CI/CD and Dev Ops tools including Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Harbor, Artifactory, and Sonar Qube.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
Container technologies including Docker, Podman, CRI‑O, and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash and Python (Perl/Groovy desirable).
Enterprise networking, storage, monitoring, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Security technologies including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, certificate management, segmentation, and patch management.
Preferred Experience
Telecommunications or highly regulated enterprise environments.
Dev Sec Ops and security‑by‑design implementation.
ITIL‑based operational processes and governance frameworks.
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) administration and monitoring.
