Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using robust programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement software solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain robust database solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues in production and development environments.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
- Stay current with emerging backend technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
