Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software systems that form the backbone of our financial platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and features.
- Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
- Strong experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB, Cassandra).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with financial technologies or fintech is a significant plus.
- Ability to work effectively both remotely and in an office environment.
