Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Optimize database performance, manage data models, and ensure data integrity for complex applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and conducting thorough unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver features from conception to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and architectural standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on Java and related ecosystems.
• Proven experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems is a plus.
