Senior Software Engineer builds and maintains high-quality frontend web apps for Base, open sources components, and assists teams in developing onchain products using React, Next.js, and modern dapp patterns.
Salary: $102k - $112k estimated
🔹What you'll be doing:
-Building and maintaining our frontend web applications with high quality standards
-Open sourcing our web apps and libraries, and managing open source contributions and issues from the community
-Assisting teams inside Coinbase building onchain products, leveraging industry best practices and modern dapp development patterns
-Building key components of unified Base stack to further the decentralization of Base
🔹What we look for in you:
-You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, and at least 2 years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern js frameworks like React and NextJS
-You've developed and shipped user-facing features with onchain components
-You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in frontend architecture and dapp development, including security, performance, and usability.
-You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers
-You write high quality, well tested and maintainable code
