Senior Software Engineer | C# and C++

Salary: Up to $170,000 + Super

The Role
You'll be joining a highly capable engineering team building high-performance software in C++ and C#. This is hands-on engineering where you'll be solving complex problems, influencing technical decisions, and helping shape the direction of the platform. You'll have a genuine voice in architecture and design, not just a backlog of tickets to get through.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance software components in C++ and C#
• Contributing to architecture and technical design decisions
• Writing clean, tested, maintainable code and helping set engineering standards across the team
• Working closely with product, QA, and other engineers to deliver reliable software
• Mentoring mid-level engineers and supporting their growth
• Investigating, troubleshooting, and improving performance-critical systems

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience developing production software in both C++ and C#
• A solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and system architecture
• Experience working with multithreaded, real-time, or performance-sensitive systems will be highly regarded
• Confidence working across the full software development lifecycle
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly
• Mining software experience highly desirable but not essential
