More:
We are a well-established software business modernising a large Windows desktop platform into a modern web product. This is a hands-on senior role with real influence over back-end architecture, technical direction and delivery. You will work across C#, .NET, APIs, system design and legacy modernisation, while helping the wider team adopt better engineering practices and make effective use of AI-assisted development. The working pattern is York/Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office, 37.5 hours per week, flexitime and core hours of 10am to 3pm. This is a great opportunity for a senior engineer who wants genuine influence over architecture, engineering practices, tooling and the future direction of the platform while remaining hands-on with the code.
