Senior Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded applications using C and C++.
• Implement multithreaded software, interprocess communication, device interfaces, and algorithmic functionality for medical equipment.
• Develop GUI components and operator-facing software for embedded ophthalmic systems.
• Participate in software architecture, detailed design, code reviews, requirements analysis, and technical risk assessments.
• Support software verification, defect resolution, engineering documentation, and lifecycle activities for safety-critical products.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 8 years of relevant embedded software development experience, preferably in medical devices or other safety-critical systems.
• Strong professional experience with Embedded C and Embedded C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with QNX-based embedded software environments.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, multithreading, and software interaction with hardware interfaces.
• Experience developing graphical user interfaces for embedded or device-based applications.

Good to Have:

• Experience with user interface development, Windows software development, or real-time operating systems.

Education: B.E. in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
