Join the Ripple Treasury team to evolve our core platform, which provides AI-driven financial insights to global corporate offices. You will work within a collaborative group to solve complex engineering challenges, helping to manage over $100 billion in daily cash flow for enterprise clients across 40+ countries.

What you'll do
- Lead architectural strategy, balancing system scalability with rapid deployment requirements.
- Mentor engineers and establish technical standards to improve code quality and team velocity.
- Partner with product and cross-functional teams across Ireland, the U.S., the Philippines, and Australia to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Optimize the GSmart AI engine to improve forecasting accuracy and automate variance analysis.
- Build and maintain integrations with major ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and Workday.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure to reduce development bottlenecks.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of critical systems, including production reliability and incident response.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience working on complex, business-critical production systems.
- Proven ability to lead technical designs implemented by teams of 3 or more engineers.
- Experience mentoring at least 2 engineers toward technical growth.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and RDBMS, specifically PostgreSQL query optimization and data modeling.
- Expertise in building large-scale, multi-tenant applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API design.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as liquidity management, cash positioning, and forecasting.
- Knowledge of financial data formats and banking systems including SWIFT, MT940, and BAI2.
- Understanding of multi-currency complexities and financial compliance standards like SOC 2.
- Experience integrating with payment processors or third-party financial software.
