Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Platforms to join their distributed engineering team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications. You will lead the development of critical services, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development and cloud engineering.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system uptime and stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
