Job Summary
Our client, a leader in Semiconductor machines and Machine Vision, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop control software for automated semiconductor equipment and support product improvements and customer fieldwork.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control software for automated semiconductor equipment
- Implement continuous improvements on existing and new software products to enhance performance and reliability
- Support fieldwork activities by upgrading software and resolving customer issues to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Integrate hardware components such as servo, stepper motion controllers, analog devices, and high-speed I/O into software solutions
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Master’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Studies, or equivalent
- 5-8 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in C or C++ programming languages
- Experience developing multi-threaded control software
- Practical hardware experience with servo, stepper motion controllers, analog devices, and high-speed I/O
