Senior Software Engineer
Design, implement, and operate full-stack web systems supporting a human-shaped AI platform. Build backend APIs and data pipelines in Python and TypeScript, develop frontend features with TypeScript, React, and Next.js, write tests, improve performance, reduce technical debt, create and review design documents, perform code reviews, and collaborate on technical decisions. The role may grow into technical leadership across teams.
Responsibilities
- Design web system architecture
- Develop backend APIs and data processing in Python and TypeScript
- Develop frontend applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Operate and maintain production systems
- Improve performance and refactor technical debt
- Write and maintain test code
- Create, review, and improve design documentation
- Perform code reviews to raise team quality
- Collaborate with other teams to make technical decisions
- Lead cross-team architecture and technology selection over time
Requirements
- Three or more years of practical TypeScript development experience
- Experience designing, developing, and operating full-stack web applications
- Experience with system architecture, database design, and Web API design
- Experience designing and building cloud infrastructure such as AWS
- Experience contributing to team quality through technical discussions and reviews
- Experience with large-scale, highly available systems preferred
- Experience developing and operating products using machine learning or LLMs preferred
- Experience with event-driven architecture preferred
- Experience with search engines or vector databases preferred
- Technical leadership experience within development teams or projects preferred
- Practical Python development experience preferred
