The Role: Senior Software Engineer - Data Team
A senior data engineer at Loxo is focused on writing server-side code in Ruby. They leverage their strong knowledge of Postgres and Parallel Programing in order to help process billions of datapoints from hundreds of data sources and help extract valuable insights so that our customers can become even more effective recruiters. They write scalable data pipelines and come up with innovative strategies to extract novel insights from our data.
About You
- You are a self starter and thrive in a trust-based environment
- You have strong relational database skills (Postgres is a plus)
- You have strong parallel programming skills (In Ruby is a plus)
- You have built complex, dependable data pipelines in the past
- You have at least 3 years experience as a Software Engineer
