Senior Software Engineer, Development
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of solutions using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Power BI, and Azure.
- Define and drive technical standards, design principles, and engineering best practices.
- Own SQL architecture design, database design, data modeling, and scalability planning.
- Design and review complex stored procedures, functions, views, and high-performance database solutions.
- Lead database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plan reviews.
- Drive data engineering, ETL, and data warehousing initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to define technical roadmaps.
- Review application and database designs to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
- Drive observability, monitoring, reliability, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across projects.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical production issues.
- Ensure implementation of CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
- Maintain architecture documentation and technical knowledge repositories.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience with technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Power BI, and Azure.
- Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on experience in:
- SQL architecture design
- Complex stored procedures and functions
- Database design and optimization
- Query performance tuning
- Indexing and execution plan analysis
- Strong data modeling and data warehousing expertise.
- Experience with Azure Data Services, ETL frameworks, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Full Stack technologies including React, TypeScript, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and observability practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile delivery.
- Good to have: Python.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance enterprise solutions.
