Summary
Senior engineer on the developer-experience team of a fast-growing AI infrastructure company in Stockholm: improving and extending its SDK, CLI and platform interfaces, working directly with customers, and sharing on-call for owned systems. Office-based in Stockholm, with emphasis on API ergonomics and async/concurrent programming.
We're recruiting a Senior Software Engineer in Developer Experience for our client in Stockholm.
The Position
You'll be working with a fast growing AI infra company and join a team that owns how developers interact with their platform day to day, through its SDK and command-line tools. The work covers both improving what exists and designing new capabilities as customer needs change. It suits someone who treats an API as a product in its own right and gets real satisfaction from making other engineers faster.
What you'll work on
- Improving the SDK and CLI so they're simpler to pick up and more productive to use
- Designing new interfaces and building blocks as new use cases appear
- Working directly with customers to understand where they struggle, then fixing it properly
- Sharing on-call responsibility for the systems you own
Requirements
- You care about the details developers notice: naming, sensible defaults, clear errors
- Solid understanding of async and concurrent programming, and where it tends to go wrong
- You enjoy working with users and communicate clearly
- Happy to work from the Stockholm office
Nice to have: experience building an SDK or developer tool, open-source maintenance, AI-assisted development workflows, or familiarity with data and ML tooling.
