Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: As a senior DevOps Engineer in an agile team, you are responsible to manage and improve the processes, tools, and methodologies throughout the software development life cycle. You take over the preparation, integration, and deployment of new releases for our on prem and Cloud based web applications and API's. In projects you are already involved in the architectural and design phase to ensure production readiness and compliance. You also maintain the environment and ensure the stability and security of the same. Additionally, you are responsible to manage server OS upgrades, patch and upgrade containers, and prepare new servers for the application deployments together with other IT Infrastructure departments. For less mature applications you support the developers with the Cloud migration and manage the application containers, cronjobs, sealed secrets, and application infrastructure dependencies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Design, develop and maintain DevOps based solutions.
. Develop and implement efficient algorithms and data structures.
. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
. Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
. Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met
. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Must Have Skills:

. At least three years' experience with DevOps and administration in a Linux server and AWS Cloud environment
. Strong IT Infrastructure project management skills
. Experienced in LAMP Administration (Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP)
. Cloud Development & Administration (AWS, Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor, ArgoCD, Helm Charts)
. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) with Gitlab
. Strong teamwork and communication skills
. Strong understanding of common system architectures and security best practices English B1 (written and spoken)

Good to Have Skills:

. Experience in working with the following technologies and products Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, PHP Composer Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Oracle and MSSQL databases Grafana and container performance monitoring & improvement Nexus, Sonar, Splunk Logging Load Balancer and Web Application Firewall Certificate Management and Deployment (TLS, CAs, ) Security Compliance Frameworks (OWASP, PCI DSS, ) PHP 8.x Confluence, Jira Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
