Senior Software Engineer - DevOps
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will be responsible for building and managing scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
What you'll be doing
Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
Develop and manage deployment pipelines and automation workflows.
Build and maintain application packaging and configuration for container orchestration platforms.
Manage secrets and configuration across multiple environments.
Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high availability.
Participate in incident response, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Optimize systems for cost, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate across teams to improve delivery speed and system resilience.
What we're looking for
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and container orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and operations.
Proficient in scripting or programming (e.g., Bash, Python, Node.js, Go).
Solid understanding of system security, access control, and best practices.
Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with GitOps or progressive deployment strategies.
Experience with autoscaling and cloud cost optimization.
Knowledge of compliance or security frameworks (e.g. ISO, SOC, CIS).
Prior experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring team members.
