Senior Java engineers build and maintain the backend services that sit between ColendiBank's mobile banking channels and its core banking systems — handling API Gateway/BFF architectures, orchestration, authentication, and high-volume transactional banking flows using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs with PostgreSQL (Oracle a plus).

Job Description
We are seeking Senior Java Developers to join our backend engineering team and develop scalable backend systems for ColendiBank’s digital banking platform.
Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the backend services positioned between mobile banking channels and core banking systems, focusing on seamless orchestration, integration, security, and customer-facing banking experiences.
We are looking for experienced developers with strong backend engineering expertise in:
- API Gateway & BFF implementations
- Backend integrations and orchestration
- Authentication and security flows
- High-volume transactional systems
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs
- Contribute to API Gateway and BFF (Backend for Frontend) architectures and implementations
- Work on authentication, routing, orchestration, security, and integration patterns across digital banking channels
- Collaborate with mobile, product, and core banking teams to deliver reliable banking services
- Improve system performance, resiliency, and maintainability
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Solid knowledge of API Gateway and BFF concepts and implementations
- Experience in high-volume transactional systems
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and system integrations
- PostgreSQL knowledge is required
- Oracle experience is a plus
