About the role In this position, you will become a vital member of the Experience team, focusing on the development of APIs and backend systems that facilitate enterprise customer management and automation of IoT connectivity. Your work will involve enhancing the customer portal, partner/operator portal, and the underlying API infrastructure. The systems you build will play a crucial role in driving adoption, scalability, and reliability, with an increasing integration of AI features alongside the main platform.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement customer-facing APIs and backend services for IoT connectivity management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability, while integrating new AI-driven functionalities.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in backend systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Solid grasp of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI and machine learning integrations in software applications.
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols and standards.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
