ASUS Enterprise Networking is a newly formed business unit. This is a rare chance to join as a founding member of the Engineering Productivity team. You will not be inheriting old technical debt or maintaining broken test suites. Instead, you will have the freedom to design, build, and define the development and testing infrastructure from Day One.
We follow the Engineering Productivity (EngProd) philosophy started by industry leaders. We see EngProd as a focused software engineering field centered on speed, reliability, and developer experience.
Your mission is to build the "paved road" that helps our feature teams ship code safely and quickly. You will have the chance to create the base of our development and testing infrastructure from the ground up, making our engineers more productive and our products more dependable.
What You’ll Do:
1. Architect from Scratch: Design and build the core test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for our full software stack. You will make key technical decisions on tools, test runners, and infrastructure setup
2. Developer Experience: Find pain points in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and create internal tools to remove manual work. Your users will be your fellow engineers
3. Metrics-Driven Engineering: Create observability dashboards to show pipeline health and engineering metrics, using data to guide ongoing improvements
4. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with software developers, testers, DevOps, the AI/ML team, and product managers to discover issues in our engineering process and deliver solutions that improve productivity for the whole team
5. Own Projects and Drive Improvements: Take end-to-end ownership of engineering productivity projects — from idea and design to implementation and deployment

【Essential Requirements】
1. Programming & Engineering Skills:
- Strong coding skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, etc.)
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and software engineering best practices
2. Quality & Data-Driven Approach:
- A strong focus on quality and a data-driven mindset
- You understand that if something can’t be measured, it’s hard to improve. We value engineers who use metrics and data to guide decisions and raise productivity and product quality
3. Problem-Solving Mindset:

- You will work daily with developers, QA, DevOps, AI/ML teams, product managers, and others, so you should be comfortable bridging gaps between groups to drive quality initiatives
【Preferred Qualifications】
1. AI/LLM Readiness: Interest or experience in AI or Machine Learning. Familiarity with testing non-deterministic systems, MLOps, or using AI tools to help with code generation or testing
2. Networking Domain Knowledge: Understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN). Experience with traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent, TRex), libraries such as Scapy or Netmiko, or network devices like switches, routers, access points, and controllers
3. Software Engineering Practices: Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as Git Flow, code review, clean code, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, and design patterns (SOLID, DRY, KISS, etc.)
4. Mobile + Cloud Device Management Experience
