Senior Software Engineer – Enterprise AI Solutions

The Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers enterprise‑grade AI solutions for leading organizations across banking, healthcare, and other industries. You will work on a diverse range of innovative solutions including conversational AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms, AI agents, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, knowledge management systems, and enterprise integrations. Working closely with Solution Architects, Data Scientists, and Technical Leads, you will build scalable, secure, and production‑ready applications that solve real business challenges while leveraging modern cloud and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Develop modern, responsive web applications and user interfaces.
• Build enterprise AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and workflow automation.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems, databases, REST APIs, authentication platforms, and third‑party services.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software following engineering best practices.
• Participate in solution architecture, technical design discussions, and technology evaluations.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, DevOps Engineers, and fellow Software Engineers.
• Continuously explore emerging technologies and contribute to improving engineering processes and product capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised application development.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams.

• Enterprise authentication and identity management (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML)
• Event‑driven architectures and messaging platforms
• API integrations with enterprise applications
• Secure software development practices
• Performance optimisation and scalable application design
