Title and Summary
Senior Software Engineer F/TOverviewResponsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions.
Role.
• Define requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes and best practices.
• Own software delivery tasks (code development, test, deployment) at an application/software component level.
• Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and refactor existing code.
• Adopt new languages and architecture patterns needed for the work.
• Influence the decisions made by the team and assist peers and less experienced team members.
• Demonstrate active learning and sharing of software practices via Guild/Engineering community initiatives.
• Assist in technical documentation of APIs and services being delivered.
About You
• Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer / Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related technical field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Software Engineer, IT Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst or related. Alternatively, employer will accept no degree and eight (8) years of progressively responsible work experience.
• Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: C, C+, C#; Java, JavaScript; COBOL; SQL; Gitflow; Sonar, Checkmarx; Python; Basic design patterns including factory, adaptor, singleton, composite, observer, strategy, and inversion of control; Waterfall or Scrum or Kanban or SAFe; Engineering principles including security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture; Continuous Integration (CI) and Delivery (CD).

Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $115,000 - $184,000 USD
