Senior Software Engineer (Frontend/UI-UX)

Summary

Senior frontend engineer building secure, real-time dashboards in Vue.js/TypeScript while owning UX design in Figma, ensuring WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and clear visualization of cryptographic states.

As a Senior Software Engineer with a Frontend/UI-UX specialty, you will define interaction architecture and deliver high-assurance, mission-critical digital platforms. Operating in an Agile environment, you'll solve complex usability challenges related to real-time data synchronization, cryptographic state visualization, and secure content handling. This role blends expert proficiency in design tooling (Figma) with robust front-end engineering (Vue.js, TypeScript), combining UX ownership with production-level UI implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Architect user flows for applications requiring real-time state updates and low-latency user feedback
  • Design unobtrusive visual indicators for data integrity, encryption status, and content protection layers
  • Independently develop pixel-perfect, responsive components using Vue.js and TypeScript
  • Implement complex client-side logic for dynamic content rendering and secure data presentation
  • Ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs and real-time WebSockets for live telemetry data
  • Maintain and expand the internal Design System (icons, typography, atomic components) across web, mobile, and desktop
  • Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma to validate complex workflows and state transitions
  • Transform abstract security concepts (identity verification, data classification, regulatory compliance) into clear, human-readable interface elements
  • Champion inclusive design, ensuring all interfaces strictly adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front-end engineering
  • Proven ability to architect, build, and deploy complex, stateful web applications (real-time dashboards, high-density data-processing interfaces)
  • Clear track record of translating UX requirements into production-ready code within structured Agile/Scrum workflows
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, including secure integration of RESTful APIs and WebSockets
  • Mandatory professional experience with the Vue.js ecosystem (Pinia, Vue Router)
  • Expert proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Prototyping)
  • Comprehensive understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and ARIA roles
  • Proven ability to articulate and defend complex design decisions to engineering and product stakeholders in fluent English

Desirable Certifications

  • Google UX Design Professional Certificate
  • Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
  • UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g)
