Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Java, React, AWS)
Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Java, React, AWS). You will build secure, scalable microservices and modern web interfaces for a financial supervision platform used by regulatory teams. You will work in an agile squad, ship features end to end and improve performance, reliability and security across the stack.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Back-end microservices using Java
- Implement event-driven patterns for service-to-service communication
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support Front-end features
- Develop responsive web experiences using React and Next.js
- Containerize services with Docker to support repeatable deployments
- Integrate Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as Amazon S3, Amazon Lambda and Amazon API Gateway
- Apply security practices including OAuth-based authentication and authorization
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance and improve reliability across the stack
Requirements
- Java proficiency for Back-end service development
- Microservices architecture experience including event-driven design patterns
- RESTful APIs experience designing and maintaining service endpoints
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) hands-on experience with Amazon S3, Amazon Lambda, Amazon API Gateway and Amazon DynamoDB
- ReactJS and Next.js proficiency building modern web applications
- Docker knowledge for containerization and deployment consistency
- Security understanding including OAuth and secure coding practices
- Problem-solving ability with clear communication in cross-functional teams
