One of our clients in the Oil and Gas industry is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer | Full Stack.
About the role
Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack role involving ownership of the design, development, and optimization of services, API, export layers, web application front end, and native apps. You will build robust export pipelines, streaming architectures, webhook integrations, and Model Context Protocol servers, collaborating with product managers and senior engineers to architect systems that handle high-throughput data pipelines.
Key responsibilities
Own the design, development, and optimization of the services, API, export layers and the web application front end as well as the native apps.
Build robust export pipelines, streaming architectures, webhook integrations, and Model Context Protocol servers.
Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to define functionality and architect systems that handle high-throughput data pipelines.
Mentor junior team members and conduct peer reviews.
Participate in goal setting and reviews for junior team members.
Share knowledge and contribute to the continued development of the wider software engineering team.
Identify and support the increased use of AI and AI-enabled development tools to improve efficiency and release cycles.
Maintain observability and reliability standards.
Provide Tier 3 support.
Participate in the on-call rotation and incident response for owned services.
Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience across the full stack.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proficiency in React, C# .Net stack.
Ability to use AI-augmented development workflows such as Claude, Codex, or Copilot.
Proficiency designing and developing resilient REST APIs and cloud-based applications, preferably on Azure Cloud.
Proficiency designing and developing resilient web applications.
Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
Understanding of microservice architecture and backend design principles.
Experience with data exports, reporting systems, or data streaming.
Familiarity with authentication, API gateways, and rate-limiting strategies.
